NBS Grad Iron Sight broke a step slow and dropped back early, tugged his was closer into the first turn then swerved from the two path to the three path while rank behind horses early on that bend, settled more kindly on the outside but with cover on the backstretch, ranged up in the three then the four path on the far turn, made a bid while roused at the quarter-pole, battled outside two rivals in upper stretch, dueled outside the runner-up in the final furlong and narrowly prevailed under strong urging.
